Dear neighbors and citizens, for information: High security alert here in Spain: please note that a group of people are going door to door pretending to be employees of the Interior Affairs.

They have documents and letterhead from the Ministry of the Interior and claim to have to check if everyone has a valid ID for the next census. In fact, to steal from homes.

They are everywhere and look elegant.

Someone comes to your house and tells you that they want to take your photo/fingerprint, according to a specific pattern. They have a laptop, a biometric machine and a list of all the names.

They show the menu and ask for all this information.

Please note that there is no such initiative from the government.

Know that all this is false.

Do not give them any information.

If possible, notify the police, for arrest for title theft, even identity theft and fraud.
